The School-Tutoring Service (STS) aims at tutoring, before all, students in their homework duties, supporting them in a creative and constructive way. The service aims also at supporting their families, which too often are unable to help their children in the performances of educational obligations, so to save parent time for staying fairly with their children, when they are back home in the evening. Moreover, STS aims at creating a socialization and cultural center where, besides studying, students can grow in a pleasing harmony and in a constructive friendship.
STS is promoted and managed by the 'Association "Development and Solidarity NGO" in collaboration with the Consortium “Famiglie Solidali” (“Sympathetic Families”), with the Basilica Santa Pudenziana, and with the “Filipino School in Italy” Association, in order to satisfy:
1. The need for school support, education and training for the children of working parents;
2. The need of Immigrant family children for endowing them with an adequate support for their full integration in the Italian Society and Culture;
3. The need of rediscovering both shared cultural (music, theater, computer school…), and school engagements, as well as the joyful experiences of playing together, as a creative time for growing up in a creative way;
4. The need of overcoming the loneliness our children often live in their homes, for developing fully their socialization dimension;
5. The need of preventing the plague of the early school abandon for all our children.

Enrollments are on a monthly basis till the 20th day of the preceding month, and the school tutoring will be activated on reaching the minimum number of 10 people every month.

“Doposcuola Santa Pudenziana” è un progetto che nasce dalla collaborazione della Basilica di Santa Pudenziana, Mons. Gianfranco Basti, l’Associazione “Sviluppo & Solidarietà ONLUS” e il Consorzio Famiglie SolidaliLo scopo è recuperare e ridonare al quartiere spazi in cui i ragazzi, e le ragazze delle scuole elementari e medie possano ritrovare il piacere di stare insieme, studiare ed imparare, ma anche giocare insieme.

In particolare, gli studenti saranno aiutati nei compiti a casa, i modo che il tempo che la sera potranno passare con i genitori sia dedicato a stare insieme in serenità e senza (almeno) questa preoccupazione.

Le iscrizioni aprono dal 1 settembre 2016 e potranno essere rinnovate entro il giorno 20 di ogni mese precedente (modulo da compilare in fondo alla pagina)

Le iscrizioni sono su base mensile e il servizio potrà essere attivato al raggiungimento di un minimo di 10 ragazzi ogni mese.
